SHOW ETIQUETTE & RESPONSIBLE DRINKING

1. This is a tasting event, not a drinking competition. We're here to appreciate fine spirits, not overindulge. Please pace yourself and drink in moderation.

2. Eat before and during the show. Once you've collected your wristband, you're free to leave and re-enter the venue during your session. There will be food stalls in the courtyard.

3. Stay hydrated. Complimentary drinking water will be available at clearly marked stations around the venue. Take regular breaks between tastings.

4. Use the spittoons. They're there to help you taste more without overdoing it. Don't be shy - seasoned whisky lovers use them all the time.

5. All pours must be consumed on site. Whisky samples will be poured by the exhibitors into the official tasting glasses provided. Decanting into sample bottles or removing whisky from the venue is strictly prohibited.

6. Exhibitors have the right to refuse service. They may not choose to serve anyone they believe has had too much to drink - this is for everyone's safety and enjoyment.

7. Only those aged 18 will be permitted entry to the show. If you look under 25, please bring valid photo ID - we reserve the right to ask for proof of age upon entry to the show.

8. Our stewards are here to help. They'll be on hand throughout the show to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all.

9. Inappropriate or disruptive behaviour won't be tolerated. Anyone displaying offensive conduct or appearing intoxicated may be asked to leave the event.

10. If you're removed from the show, you won't be allowed back in. No readmittance will be granted to anyone asked to leave for misconduct or drunkenness.

11. Please be punctual for your Masterclass. If you have tickets to a Masterclass, please arrive promptly. This is so that all attendees can enjoy the experience. If you are late, you may not be permitted entry to the Masterclass.
