Tasting Hall
This is where you can taste the whisky from Scotland to Kentucky, mingle with the producers and distillers, independent bottlers and brand ambassadors and meet the stars of the industry! You will witness the Bourbon v Scotch Challenge on stage hosted by Whisky Magazine and to add to the terrific atmosphere, there will be a Bourbon Cocktail Bar where you can enjoy some truly delicious combinations. The sheer range of whisky on show will challenge even the most determined taster; everything from old favourites to unusual finishes and rare bottlings. Whisky Experiences
The Whisky Experience areas are the education and entertainment zones, with themed areas providing sensory experiences such as coopering, whisky blending, cocktails and much, much more. With a dram always on hand the Whisky Experience seeks to educate and entertain those who want to learn a little more about the diversity of this delicious nectar.
Masterclasses
The masterclasses provide a taster of the unique intricacies of the whisky world. These are tutored by renowned experts in the field and run for 45 minutes. Entry to each masterclass costs $20.

MC1 - Glenmorangie’s Brave New World
Dr Bill Lumsden, Head of Distilling and Whisky Creation at The Glenmorangie Company will lead a fascinating and informative tasting through the award winning "New World" of Glenmorangie. Starting with the Glenmorangie Original, the tasting will move on to the Extra Matured Range (Lasanta, Quinta Ruban and Nectar D'Or) and finally move on to explore the newest award winning creations from the Glenmorangie distillery; Glenmorangie Astar and Glenmorangie Signet.

MC2 - The Glenlivet Single Malt
Come and experience the full Glenlivet Range; 12 Years Old, 15 Years Old French Oak Reserve, the Nadurra 16 Years Old, 18 Year Old,Archive 21 Years Old and the XXV Glenlivet. MC4 - Makers Mark
Remember English Lit 101? Well, Bourbon 101 is definitely nothing like that! Meet Kevin Smith, Maker’s Mark Master Distiller who will take you on a guided tour through Maker’s Mark at different ages of maturity (including new distillate… you’ll have to experience that one first hand!). Think of this as your personal Bourbon crash course (or Bourbon enjoyment course, depending on how you feel about the stuff). Also during this presentation, Kevin will share with you the history of Maker’s Mark, the difference between Whisky and Bourbon, and why Maker’s Mark stands apart from other bourbons.

MC5 - The Classic Malts Experience
Master Distiller Emeritus, Evan Cattanach, takes you through a multisensory tasting of the Classic Malts Distillers Editions. These limited production bottlings of the Classic Malts Selection have been double matured, first in aged bourbon barrels, and then in either sherry or port casks. The tasting will take guests through the history, production process, regionality and the flavor profiles of this vast selection of Single Malt Scotches.

MC6 - Bushmills
Master of Whisky, Spike McClure, will introduce you to the family of whiskey from Ireland’s oldest distillery. You will have the chance to sample Bushmills Original, Bushmills Black Bush and the range of Single Malts. In addition, we are pleased to sample Bushmills 1608, specifically blended for the 400th anniversary of the Bushmills distillery.

What is Whisky Live?
Whisky Live is the international celebration of whisky, bringing all the whiskies of the world together under one roof. Whisky Live prides itself on bringing together the finest whiskies, great food and a range of education and entertainment to make learning about whisky both fun and stimulating.
Where is Whisky Live New York?
Pier Sixty is located within the Chelsea Piers Sports and Entertainment Complex, at 23rd Street on the Hudson River. Vehicles may enter the complex from the West Side Highway between 22nd and 23rd Streets in Manhattan.
Arriving by Car
Taxis: To arrive directly at our front door, please instruct your driver to follow all access/parking signs (do not follow taxi drop off). Please instruct your driver to proceed through the parking gate directly to PIER SIXTY, located at the tip of Pier 60. Taxis, cars and limousines are given 20-minutes free access to drop off and pick up passengers.
Public Transport by Bus
The M23 bus crosses Manhattan on West 23rd Street and stops at Pier 62, the front door of Chelsea Piers. From Pier 62 it is a short walk to Pier 60.
The M14 bus crosses Manhattan on 14th Street and stops at West 18th street adjacent to Pier 59. From Pier 59, it is a short walk to PIER SIXTY.
Pedestrian Entrance Directions
Enter pedestrian walkway (Pier 62) – Ruthy’s Bakery and Café is on your left and the Hudson River on your right. Continue on walkway. For PIER SIXTY turn right on Pier 60 and walk to the end of pier for the entrance.
What is a voucher?
A voucher is the event’s currency to enable you to sample. No sample can be tasted without exchanging a number of vouchers. You receive a number of vouchers as part of your entrance ticket, and further vouchers are available at a cost of $2.00 each during the show. You will require between 1 to 3 vouchers for each sample, depending on the age and rarity of the whisky. The principle is that un-aged whiskies or whiskies under 12 years are 1 voucher, and whiskies over 22 years of age are 3 vouchers. The number of vouchers requested for each sample is at the discretion of each exhibitor.
