Whisky Live New York 2007 Review

April 4, 2007 (New York, NY) – More than 850 people braved torrential rain to discover more about whisky at Whisky Live, the world’s premier whisky tasting event.

The impressive show returned to New York in a new venue, the prestigious Pier Sixty, on Wednesday April 4th, 2007.

With more than 100 whiskies from all over the world, great music and fine food, Whisky Live New York was the focal point of Scottish celebrations during Tartan Week.

The evening, which ran from 5.30m to 10pm, featured distillers from Scotland, Kentucky, Japan and Ireland presenting their whiskies, and Masterclasses hosted by the whisky makers themselves. Whisky Live’s festival atmosphere was rounded off with authentic Scottish food, and live music performed by Mactalla and Suilven.
