Whisky Live LA, now in its fourth year, will take place in the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. Perfectly situated on the fashionable West Side, adjacent to Beverly Hills, this elegant West Los Angeles luxury hotel offers easy access to all the sights of this vibrant city.

Tickets Options

VIP ticket - 5:00pm - 10pm @ $149 includes entrance at 5:00pm, full buffet, Glencairn Glass, showguide and 14 vouchers. Ticket includes a 1 year subscription to Whisky Magazine.

STANDARD ticket 6:30pm - 10pm @ $119 includes entrance at 6:30pm, full buffet, Glencairn Glass, showguide and 8 vouchers

PLATINUM CIGAR PASS @ $179 - This premium pass includes both an early VIP entrance to the main event and admission to the exclusive After Party showcasing a special selection of Scotches and Buorbons paired with fine cigars. Hors d'oeuvres will be served from 9:30pm - 11:00pm and all Whisky Live Platinum Cigar Pass holders will receive a subscription to Whisky Magazine and a sampler box of premium select cigars courtesy of Hollywood Smoke. This exclusive ticket is limited to 100 people and includes entrance to the main event at 5:00pm, full buffet, Glencairn Glass, showguide and 14 vouchers. The After Party starts at 9:30pm and will be held in a separate, private hall opening to a cigar patio.

MC1: 5:45 - 6:45pm

Diageo Single Malts: Oban, Talisker, Lagavulin

Master of Whisky, Dr. Thomas Turner Ph.D., will introduce you to the whisky flavors of spice, malt, orange, pepper, sea salt and smoke on a Western Highlands and Islands Single Malts Tasting. He will take your palette and imagination on a whisky tasting adventure through the quaint town of Oban on the West Coast of Scotland then on to the misty Isle of Skye in the Southern Hebrides and finishing up on the enchanted Isle of Islay, the whisky Island.

MC2: 6:00 - 7:00pm

The Glenlivet

Josh Gelfand will lead guests through a sampling journey that covers the core range of The Glenlivet, The Single Malt that Started it All. Participants will be educated on the brand’s unique history while going through an aroma exercise to help simplify the main flavor components of single malt.

MC3: 7:00 - 8:00pm

Glenmorangie – The Making of a Legend

Explore the famous tastes of Glenmorangie Single Malt, Scotland’s favorite Single Malt for over 50 years. We will explore the history of Glenmorangie and our modern day tradition of innovation that has driven our leadership in wood management.

From hand selected air seasoned American white oak used to create Glenmorangie Original to the invention and progression of wood finishing we will explore the unseen extra lengths that go towards making Glenmorangie “Unnecessarilly Well Made”.

MC4: 7:15 - 8:15pm

Why such a BIG deal about small barrels?

Why such a BIG deal about small barrels? Is BIGGER better? Isn’t better subjective? Spend some time with Tuthilltown's former Head Distiller and current Hudson Whiskey Ambassador, Gable Erenzo, to explore the benefits and pitfalls, the do's and dont's of small barrel maturation. SCIENTIFIC FINDINGs will be presented and free flow conversation welcomed.

MC5: 8:15 - 9:15pm

Scott’s Bottlings & Special Selections

A unique experience as Monique Huston, Whisky Sommelier, pours selections from the Scott’s bottlings along with special selections. We will cover all the traditional regions of Scotland, plus with the recent press and inquiries we have been getting on the Lark, we’ll make sure to taste these fantastic whiskies from Tasmania.

Tasting Hall

This is where you can taste an incredible range of whiskies from Scotland to Kentucky, mingle with the producers and distillers, independent bottlers and brand ambassadors and meet the stars of the industry.The sheer range of whisky on show will challenge even the most determined taster; everything from old favourites to unusual finishes and rare bottlings. The very best whiskies of the world all under one roof.

Take Century Boulevard East to the San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405) North and exit at Santa Monica Boulevard. Turn right onto Santa Monica Boulevard, proceed 2 miles, and turn right onto Avenue of the Stars. Our West Los Angeles CA hotel is located 2 blocks ahead, on the right.

From East

Take Interstate 10 West past downtown Los Angeles. Exit at Overland Avenue and turn right. Proceed 1 mile to Pico and turn right. Proceed 1 mile to Avenue of the Stars and turn left.

From North
Take Highway 101 South to I-405 South. Exit I-405 onto Santa Monica Boulevard and turn left. Turn right onto Avenue of the Stars. Our Los Angeles CA luxury hotel is located 2 blocks ahead, on the right.
