Whisky Live New York returns to the spectacular Pier Sixty on 6th April 2011 creating a magnificent evening of great whisky, fine food and wonderful entertainment in the heart of New York. Our 2010 show was our most successful edition attracting great whiskies and a fine crowd of whisky lovers to a fantastic evening. Whether, the seasoned whisky lover or novice you can expect to experience an incredible and in-depth insight into the world of whisky drinking and producing. This is your chance to become closer to the industry, taste rare and sought-after whiskies, increase your knowledge and meet the whisky experts!
Show open 5.30pm for VIP ticket holders and 6.30pm for Standard ticket holders.

Masterclasses - TICKETS ON SALE
The masterclasses provide a taster of the unique intricacies of the whisky world. These are tutored by renowned experts in the field and run for 45 - 55 minutes. Entry to each masterclass costs $20 and only valid with an entrance ticket. This year we have 3 which are all accessible with either a standard or VIP ticket.
6.00PM - MC1 - THE GLENLIVET (please note you can attend this masterclass with a standard ticket)
The Single Malt that Started it All
Our seminar will cover the history of The Glenlivet and the role it played in building the single malt scotch whisky industry during the 1800’s in Scotland and more recently, the 20th century in the U.S. We will then step through the basics of scotch whisky production, highlighting the key elements of our production process that differentiate The Glenlivet from our competitive set. The big finish will be a tasting of six marques from our core range.
7.30PM - MC2 - JOHNNIE WALKER
The House of Walker is a journey of taste through the Johnnie Walker portfolio. Led by Diageo Master of Whisky John Heffernan, the experience provides a platform to understand the individual labels, their story, the best serve and the mood each label best suits. You will sample Johnnie Walker Red, Black, Green Gold & Blue!
9.00PM - MC3 - GLENMORANGIE & ARDBEG
Glenmorangie –“A Tale of Two Whiskies”
Join us for an adventurous tasting starting in the Highlands with some of Glenmorangie's most notable expressions and then down to the Islands to savor Ardbeg, 'the ultimate spirit of Islay.' Starting with the Glenmorangie Original, the tasting will move on to the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban, Glenmorangie Finealta, Glenmorangie Extremely Rare 18yo, Glenmorangie Signet, Ardbeg 10 Years, Ardbeg Uigeadail, and Ardbeg Corryvreckan.

Ward III presents Iron Bartender Competition 2011
Whisky Live with Ward III will again present the Iron Bartender Competition at this year's show sponsored by Makers Mark. Watch as some New York's finest bartenders create some amazing cocktails with fantastic Whiskies.
The Oban Whisky Experience
This year we will have the Oban Experience at Whisky Live New York. An opportunity to relax and sit down and take in all that is Oban with one of the Ambassadors and learn more about this fantastic single malt from the West Coast of Scotland. Oban distillery is physically and spiritually at the heart of Oban - the "Gateway to the Isles". In effect, the town grew up around the distillery and since its foundation in 1794 it has played an important role in local life. This is your chance to get immersed in all that is Oban and sample this amazing member of the Classic Malts.
This year at Whisky Live we have the fantastic Whisky Kiss performing during the show. They are an ice cool band who will play some fantastic tunes during the show for you to enjoy your Whisky to. They have a new CD out called Twisted Tartan and you can check them out at www.whiskykiss.com

Where is Whisky Live New York?
Pier Sixty is located within the Chelsea Piers Sports and Entertainment Complex, at 23rd Street on the Hudson River. Vehicles may enter the complex from the West Side Highway between 22nd and 23rd Streets in Manhattan.
Arriving by Car
Taxis: To arrive directly at our front door, please instruct your driver to follow all access/parking signs (do not follow taxi drop off). Please instruct your driver to proceed through the parking gate directly to PIER SIXTY, located at the tip of Pier 60. Taxis, cars and limousines are given 20-minutes free access to drop off and pick up passengers.
Public Transport by Bus
The M23 bus crosses Manhattan on West 23rd Street and stops at Pier 62, the front door of Chelsea Piers. From Pier 62 it is a short walk to Pier 60.
The M14 bus crosses Manhattan on 14th Street and stops at West 18th street adjacent to Pier 59. From Pier 59, it is a short walk to PIER SIXTY.
Pedestrian Entrance Directions
Enter pedestrian walkway (Pier 62) – Ruthy’s Bakery and Café is on your left and the Hudson River on your right. Continue on walkway. For PIER SIXTY turn right on Pier 60 and walk to the end of pier for the entrance.
What is a voucher?
A voucher is the event’s currency to enable you to sample. No sample can be tasted without exchanging a number of vouchers. You receive a number of vouchers as part of your entrance ticket, and further vouchers are available at a cost of $2.00 each during the show. The number of vouchers requested for each sample is at the discretion of each exhibitor.
