Whisky Live Moscow 2012 Review
The 3rd international Whisky Live Moscow exhibition took place on November 23-24 at Korston Hotel in Moscow. During the two day show visitors had an opportunity to try and enjoy a wide variety of single malt and blended whiskies, Bourbons and rare and collector’s items from all over the world including Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Dewar’s, Aberfeldy, Hankey Bannister, Balblair, AnCnoc, Speyburn, Old Pulteney, Catto’s, Embassy Club, Bunnahabhain, Tobermory, Ledaig, Deanston, Black Bottle, Scottish Leader, Blanton’s, Wemyss Malts, Parker’s, Glen Clyde, Label 5, Glen Moray, Lauder’s and many more.
Throughout the exhibition many Masterclasses were held by experts such as Erkin Tuzmuhamedov – the leading Russian alcohol market expert who presented his film “Adventure to the world of whisky” and his new book “Single- malt cuisine” and Boris Rodionov who guided the audience through the world of Russian distillates. Visitors had a unique opportunity to attend the Masterclass of famous Russian political scientist and journalist Michail Leontiev “But!..Whisky and politics” as well as enjoy the unforgettable Masterclass from Ukrainian Whisky Connoisseurs Club A.Nemchinov “Sex and whisky”.
Masterclasses were also held by Burn Stewart Distillers’ leading blender and brand-ambassador Kirstie McCallum, Inver House Distillers’ brand-ambassador Lukasz Dynowiak and Moet-Hennessy brand-ambassador Anastasiya Bahtina.
Over 3 000 people visited the Whisky Live Moscow 2012 exhibition with support from leading Russian and international media, particularly such magazines and internet-media as SMOKE, XXL, Simple Wine News, Billboard, Profile, Le Courier de Russie, Sommelier, Drinktime.ru, Trendymen.ru, Menu.ru, Barbook.ru, Euromag.ru and others.
