Whisky Live Tokyo 2005 Review
The 5th Live!, in February 2005, attracted over 2,300 people to a full program including 22 Masterclasses, Japanese & Western Tasting Zones, a Whisky Cocktail bar with lady bartenders mixing and shaking cocktails based upon Japanese whiskies, demonstrations by Japanese cocktail champions and a top London mixologist, and a “Celebration of Whisky”, featuring the musical talents of Tokyo FM’s DJ Kaori. The 6th Japanese Live!, now established as the largest spirits event in Asia, promises a similar cocktail of fun, entertainment and whisky education. Overseas whisky lovers are more than welcome; the off-season timing means that some very reasonable travel deals are available from both Europe and the USA.
