Marseille 2009 Review

More information to some soon.

Paris 2008 Review

Angels must have been celebrating in Paris on that lovely Indian summer week-end at the end of September. The Pavillon Gabriel – wasn’t Archangel Gabriel the most famous in the white-winged congregation? – owned and run by award winning caterer Potel et Chabot is a rather glamourous address. It faces the Palais de l’Elysée. On that third week-end of September, a lot of public buildings are opened to visitors for the Journées du patrimoine. So was the presidential residence.

Strasbourg 2008 Review

Like an invitation to travel, Whisky Live Strasbourg will bring together, for one day, some of the most prestigious distilleries, from Scotland, Ireland, the United States and Japan as well as France, and in particular, Alsace.

Paris 2007 Review

The theme of Whisky Live Paris 2007, held from 22nd to 24th September was focused on rarity and exception, each stand presenting a “collector” to be sampled by the visitors. They had found the adequate token in the glass which they were handed at the entrance. The participants were given the chance to sample two collectors distributed at random in the glasses.

Paris 2006 Review

Following hot on the heels of last year’s runaway success, which was completely sold out, attracting more than 1,800 private visitors and 1,200 professionals, the 2006 event was expanded accordingly.

Paris 2005 Review

Hosted for the second time in the magnificent Palais Brongniart, the old Stock Exchange, Paris Whisky Live welcomed 60 distilleries from all other the world including the newcomers from India, Wales and Brittany Whisky Live had chosen a sensory angle this year, placing the whole event under the theme ‘emotions and alliances.’

Paris 2004 Review

More than 50 exhibitors including 44 distilleries entertained 2,300 visitors for two days. Edradour distillery even delayed its come back into production after its silent season to be there. Andrew Symington and Iain Henderson appeared in overalls! Tasting all new releases would have been an impossible challenge. More than 200 whiskies were displayed at the stands.
